About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Kayla Garritano, I'm 30 years old, and I currently reside in Westchester County, New York.

To sum myself up in a nutshell, I try to seek adventure whenever possible and hope to travel the world. When I'm not planning my next adventure, I love trying new restaurants, going to concerts and sporting events, and enjoying a (rare) cozy night in.

​

But here's who I am on the writing side of things:

From when I was a little girl, I scribbled down anything having to do with words into tons of notebooks; creating stories, jotting down my thoughts, and doodling quotes. I loved to express myself through writing and began writing poetry, which only led to so much more.

​

Knowing this was my only real passion, I graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in journalism and a double minor in marketing and creative writing, looking to find an outlet in the real world where I could express myself. 

 

Seeking chances to do so as well as finding a way to make others feel joy through my writing, I discovered freelancing would be the best journey for me.

​

While I still enjoy writing the occasional poetry, freelancing allows me to make others happy with my words. I'm able to reach all different audiences, and I hope to continue bringing that positive energy to those around me.
